Je suis en arrière!

Its been a while since I was last here I must admit. Looking at the past month I havent really done a lot but I was still always busy somehow.
At the beginning of the month I went back to Coventry to stay with my boyfriend, helping him move in the new place and that. But I definately had to go back to London for our two graduate show at Graduate Fashion Week and the Truman Brewery!
Both of them went reaaally well and Ravensbourne won the menswear Award again (which wasnt a big surprise since the collections this year were really strong I think!).
We even had Vivienne Westwood backstage who watched the show and came to talk to some people!

(sorry, knicked that off one of the other students facebook, cant even remember who it was! should have taken one myself really, since I was only 1m away as well. wish my blackberrys camera wasnt as shit!)

There were loads of good pieces but I think these are the ones I probably liked best

Hannah Shrubs jacket, hessian & black wool woven into it, then gold printed (I think its printed, I didnt fully understand how to do it) on top.

Loved Bobby Ableys whole collection! Do I really need to explain why? ;)
Apart from Thomas Crisp who won the GFW Award, his collection has probably been the most published, it usually comes up first when you search for this years Rave collections.

Harriet Clinch
I want the camera!!

Jade Rozenbroek
I really liked her collection, thought it was the best"wearable" menswear one. My consciousness is telling me to not like the fur... but I really do!! Just goes so well with it and finishes off the look, it would definately not be the same without.

Kiley Evans
I loved Kileys dress, its just a shame that you cant see the detail in the pictures. The top bit is all beautifully embroided and covered in little Swarovski crystals.

Kirsty Nolan
It might not be the most exciting and experimental dress, but I would buy it straight away! Considering my love for black dresses (wel lets say black clothes in general) and leather, its perfect <3
Again, you cant see the detail very well.

Sera Ulger
Words cannot describe how fluffy and nice and comfy the mohair is!
One day I will get the same fabric and make a jacket out of it that I will never take off again. In the same exact gorgeous colour :)

Cant find any pictures of the Truman Brewery Show, Dazed Digital was backstage taking pictures but there don't seem to be any uploaded yet?

Just one of me dressing one of the models, looking like a tramp next to her.. (and you can see im being too well fed this month being at my boyfriends house :/ )
Its weird how small I seem next to her, considering Im 5'11 and usually the tallest girl around. Not that I'm a big fan of being tall, "friendly giant" is not exactly my favorite nickname.
I probably just need to by nasty from now on, Id rather be the scary giant haha
